This Privacy Policy describes how Door Deals Now (“we,” “us” or “our”) handles your personal information when you use DoorDealsNow.com, our forms, emails and text-message program (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Collect

Personal information. We don’t collect personal information (such as your name, address, phone number or email address) when you simply browse the Services. We collect it when you choose to give it to us, for example when you fill out a form, create or update an account, register to make offers, contact us, or enter into a transaction with us. This may include your first and last name, email address, phone number, username, password, billing information and other information exchanged in connection with a real estate transaction. We may also get personal information from other sources, such as public records and other publicly available information. We use this information to provide the Services and as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information you give us through our forms. When you fill out a form (for example, our First Look deal list or our seller form), we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, mobile or phone number, whether you’re an investor, agent or home buyer, areas of interest, and, for sellers, the property address, city, state, ZIP, condition, timeline, occupancy, property type and notes. We also record the page you were on, how you reached us (for example, campaign and source tags in the link), the date and time, and whether you agreed to receive texts or emails, along with the consent wording shown to you.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we may automatically collect information about the device you use and how you use the Services, such as your browser type, IP address, language, operating system, general location (for example, the state or country you’re in), the pages you view, how long you stay on them, the content you view, click on or search for, the date and time of your visit, and the websites you visited just before and after ours. We may use analytics providers, cookies and similar tools to collect this information. We use it to understand how the Services are used, to improve them, and to show you relevant content and advertising. If this information is linked to your name or contact information, we treat it as personal information.

Your account. If you’re signed in to a Door Deals Now account, information about what you view, click on or search for on the Services, and the devices you use, may be linked to your name or contact information.

Location settings. You can turn off location sharing for websites and apps in your browser or device settings. On an Apple device, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Location Services. On an Android device, go to Settings, then Location.

Cookies. The Services use cookies and similar tools, such as web beacons and pixels. Cookies are small files that a website stores on your computer or device. We use “session” cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, to keep the information you enter on multiple pages together and to help the Services run smoothly. We also use “persistent” cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them, to measure how the Services perform. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can set your browser to block them. If you block cookies, some features of the Services may not work.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technology to collect information about how visitors use the Services. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Social media links. The Services may link to our pages on other sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok and Threads. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we recommend reading them before you use those links.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the purpose you gave it to us, and we may also use it to:

Create and maintain your account and your contact preferences;
Respond to your requests and questions, including calling you about a property you asked us to look at;
Send you property alerts and updates you signed up for;
Let you register to make offers and take part in property sales on the Services;
Contact you by phone or email about a property, an offer or a transaction you’re involved in;
Improve the Services and understand how they’re used;
Show you relevant content and advertising;
Keep records of your consent and any opt-out requests;
Enforce our Terms of Use; and
Send you messages about your account and changes to the Services.

5. Tailored Advertising

The Services may use third-party ad technology that shows you ads based on your interests, on our site and on other websites. We don’t give your name or contact information to these ad companies for this purpose. They, or we, may use information collected through cookies, device identifiers, web beacons or pixels to choose which ads to show you, limit how often you see an ad, and measure how well ads work. Information collected by these third parties is governed by their own privacy policies.

On a phone or tablet, you can also limit ad tracking in your device settings. If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they won’t be based on your interests.

6. Do Not Track Signals

We don’t currently change our practices in response to a “Do Not Track” signal or similar setting in your browser.

We may share information with service providers that work on our behalf and may use it only to provide services to us, such as our website host, email platform (Mailchimp), customer-relationship-management (CRM) software, text-message platform and wireless carriers, task-management tools, analytics providers, title and escrow companies, and payment processors.

If you submit a property for sale or make an offer on a property, we may share relevant information with the other party to that transaction, their agent, and the title or escrow company handling it.

We may also share information when we believe in good faith it’s needed to: (a) comply with the law or respond to a subpoena, court order or other legal process; (b) take part in a legal or government proceeding or investigation; (c) protect the rights, safety or property of Door Deals Now or others; (d) enforce our Terms of Use; or (e) let a company that acquires our business, or some or all of its assets, continue to serve you. We may share information with your consent, and we may share information that has been combined or de-identified so it doesn’t identify you.

We do not sell your personal information.

7A. Text Messaging (SMS)

Text Messaging. If you opt in to texts from Door Deals Now, we collect your mobile number, your opt-in record (date, time, the consent wording shown, the web page and your IP address) and the messages you send us. We use this information only to send the messages you asked for, to answer you, and to keep records of your consent and any opt-out. We do not sell, rent, share or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, text-message opt-in data or consent to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message service that deliver our messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. To stop texts, reply STOP to any message; for help, reply HELP, call 602-878-7378 or email [email protected]. You can also opt out by telling us any other reasonable way. See our Text Message Terms.

8. Your Choices

Email: click “Unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or email [email protected]. We process email opt-outs within 10 business days. Text messages: reply STOP (see §7A). Phone calls: tell the person calling, or call 602-878-7378, and we’ll add you to our internal do-not-call list. Cookies: use your browser settings, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or the industry opt-out pages listed in §5. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send messages about a transaction you’re in.

9. State Privacy Rights

Residents of some states may have additional rights under their state’s law. To make a request, contact us using the details in §2. We’ll respond as required by applicable law.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and alteration. No security measures are perfect, though. If you think personal information you shared with us is being misused, please let us know right away.

11. Children’s Information

The Services are meant for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

12. Accessing, Reviewing and Changing Personal Information

We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep records we’re required to keep (for example, consent and opt-out records and transaction files).

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to other websites and services. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices, and information you give them isn’t covered by this Privacy Policy. Please read their privacy policies.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated version on the Services. Changes take effect when posted. If we make material changes, we’ll post them here and notify you as required by law.

15. Where We Store Information

We store and process information in the United States.

16. Phone Calls

We may record phone calls with you to check the quality and accuracy of the information we give you and to make sure your instructions are followed. By speaking with us by phone, you agree that the call may be recorded.

17. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including keeping consent and opt-out records for at least five years and transaction records as the law requires.
